WarSales is a dedicated peer-to-peer marketplace for militaria collectors. We connect buyers and sellers of medals, uniforms, weapons, field equipment, photographs and other historical military items from around the world.

Yes — WarSales is completely free for both buyers and sellers. There are no listing fees, no sales commissions and no subscription costs. We keep the platform running through tasteful advertising. You will always be notified in advance if this changes.

Anyone who registers a free account can buy and sell. You must be at least 18 years old and agree to our Terms of Service. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their items comply with the laws of their country.

Militaria from any era — medals and orders, military badges, uniforms, weapons and arms, field equipment, photographs, ephemera and books. Items must be genuine historical collectibles. Reproductions must be clearly labelled as such. Counterfeit items, stolen goods and items prohibited by local law may not be listed.

Browse the listings, find something you like, and click "Buy / Enquire" to start a conversation with the seller directly through our messaging system. Agree on payment and shipping terms with the seller. WarSales does not process payments — all transactions happen directly between buyer and seller.

Payment is agreed between buyer and seller directly. Common methods include bank transfer, PayPal, and other peer-to-peer payment services. Always use a method that offers some buyer protection and keep records of all communication.

WarSales provides platform-level safety measures: all communication goes through our messaging system (creating a record), sellers can be reported and suspended for misconduct, and we review all listings before publication. We do not process payments and therefore cannot offer financial guarantees. See our Buyer Protection page for full details.

Yes — when you are logged in, click the heart icon on any listing to add it to your Wishlist. You can view all saved items from your account dashboard.

Create a free account, click "+ Post Listing" in the navigation, fill in the title, category, condition, price and description, and upload at least one photo. Your listing goes live as soon as it is reviewed by our moderation team, usually within 24 hours.

Include all costs — including shipping — in your listed price, or leave the price blank to show "Price on Request". Research recent sales of comparable items to set a fair market price. See our Selling Tips page for more guidance.

The following may not be listed: illegal weapons or items prohibited by the seller's local law; stolen goods; confirmed counterfeits or forgeries presented as genuine; items whose sale would promote hatred or violence. Nazi and Third Reich items may be listed for historical/collecting purposes only and will receive an automatic disclaimer. WarSales reserves the right to remove any listing at its discretion.

Go to the listing page and click "Mark as Sold". This removes it from active search results and records the transaction in your account history. You can also mark items as Sold or Reserved from the Edit Listing page.

Once you have completed 10 confirmed sales, a "Request Verified Badge" button appears in your account dashboard. Submit the request and our team will review your account. Verified sellers have a ✓ badge displayed on all their listings and their public profile.

Use the report function on the listing page, or contact us via the Contact Support page. Include as much detail as possible. We take reports seriously and will investigate and take action as appropriate.

Contact us via the Contact Support page and request account deletion. We will process your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR regulations.
